Growin' Up Gregory

It's kind of become a Gregory tradition over the last few years that for the weekend of MLK day we go to Gatlinburg to relax after Christmas and New Years.  It's a great place to rent a cabin, kick back, relax and play setback.  If you don't know setback you need to learn it...one of the best card games ever and is always fun.  We can literally play for hours, everybody except Kat lol. Since Britt got a new camera prior to the trip she had to test it out so here is the first ever photo taken with the new camera.   Our view was beautiful and I managed to catch a couple good shots of a sunrise one morning...so Britt could see it later lol.     And what good is a camera with a timer if you're not going to use it to take a group photo?  So now it looks like we'll be doing double group shots.      For most of the trip we just played pool, cards, hung out, or watched football all day Sunday.  Aside from that it wa...

It's hard to decide what you want to write in your first blog since first impressions are so important.  So I figured I would start with the main reason the Brittnee and I decided to start a blog (if the name hasn't given it away) and that is the upcoming birth of our first child.  The sex hasn't been determined yet so for now it is referred to as ThomAva, a combination of the names we have selected.  So far so good with everything though as our little one gave us a thumbs up at our last ultra sound. She has also convinced me to buy a nice (female code word for expensive) camera so I'm sure there will be many more higher quality photos to come.   I always said that my, Kat's, and Jordan's childhood could have been a reality show before reality shows were cool so I look forward to using this blog to share and remember both new and old family stories.  And to hopefully share with others the blessings that God has given me over the years and as a way t...
